WordsHDFC's rewards portal
SmartBuy
HDFC Bank’s own portal for booking flights and hotels through travel partners, buying brand vouchers and spending reward points. Some HDFC Bank cards earn extra points there on top of their usual rate, up to a monthly cap; its Infinia terms, for example, cap the extra at 15,000 points a month and call the scheme a limited period offer.
Points can pay for part of a flight or hotel there: up to 70 per cent of the booking on some cards and 50 per cent on the rest, under HDFC Bank’s MITC. A point can be worth more there; HDFC Bank’s Regalia Gold terms value it at ₹0.50 on travel and ₹0.15 against the bill.
