WordsDiners Club Black
DCB
Short for Diners Club Black, and it can mean either of two HDFC Bank cards. The one HDFC Bank offers today is the Diners Club Black Metal Edition Credit Card, which its pages also call the Diners Club Black Metal Credit Card. The Diners Club Black Credit Card, without the metal, is no longer offered to new customers, HDFC Bank’s page for it says, and existing cardholders keep its benefits.
Both carry a joining fee and a renewal fee of ₹10,000 each, plus taxes. On the Metal Edition, HDFC Bank waives the renewal fee on ₹8 lakh of spending in the year before renewal; on the Diners Club Black Credit Card, on annual spends of ₹5 lakh.
